Offering you a serene and tranquil stay in this charming century home with loads of charm and character with all the comforts of a warm home. Located along the North River at the base of Murray Mountain in the small town of North River Bridge.
On the Main floor of North River Lodge is where you can enjoy your meals, hang out and rest with your group of up to 11 adults comfortably. A 75″ Smart TV set up with all your favorite apps will entertain you in the family room. This family room has a sectional sofa with a pull out bed which is almost queen size. Screened in porch present attached to the family room to enjoy the sounds and sights of the orchard and North river, and keep you safe from the bugs.
The upper floor master bedroom has an open concept with open ceilings and a bathroom within the room. One queen bed and a twin size day bed present. The exposed beams, an oversized window, 5 other windows and skylight over a clawfoot tub will put you in awe of this space.
Three more bedrooms present with queen size beds and 2 full sized bathrooms will keep all guests cozy and comfortable.

Welcome to North River Lodge, a beautifully decorated home offering 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large kitchen, dining space, living rm, family rm, screened in porch, large deck and a backyard full of apple trees. Located on the World Famous Cabot Trail, near the Cape Breton Highlands, ATV/ snowmobile and hiking trails and beautiful scenery within minutes of the lodge. The North River provides great fishing, canoeing and kayaking.

Stay With Us
From the house, a short walk to swimming and fishing holes in the North River and to beautiful scenic areas along Murray Road. Just a short drive to beaches and hiking trails. Only 5 kms from the start of the Cape Breton Highlands trails.
There is no public transit available except for Victoria County shuttle service. For $10 per person per way they will take you almost anywhere within Victoria county and for a little extra, outside of county, even into Sydney area (closest town with all ammenities). Please inquire
